Sometimes being a human is a difficult task.
Taking care of your skin and hair is much more important than you might think. Neglecting to care for these things can not only result in a un-appealing appearance but also in conditions that are very unpleasant. Things like dandruff, prickly hair, and dry skin are annoying. But what is even worse is the price some of us pay for the simple comfort of healthy hair and skin. This is a compilation of things I have learned to keep well on a budget.
This is relatively easy. First off, you need clean skin. I suggest using basic bar soap if you have nothing better. If you have a couple dollars, invest in Biore's pore scrubbing wash with Benzoil Peroxide. This is only around 8 dollars, but still, sense this is budget wise, lets talk cheaper. You can make your own skin enriching treatments at home and in the kitchen. Eggs carry many vitamins that your skin needs, and it makes a good base, so lets start here. Using 1 egg, add in other ingredients that can specify your new treatment to your skin type. Lemon juice will help zap zits, honey and bananas help you get soft skin and will sooth it, milk can be added to any of these for an extra effect, and green tea will help provide your skin with valuable nutrients. You can look these up further if you wish! So to recap, for a Loli on a budget, wash with regular bar soap, and treat your skin with a home-made treatment. Remember to wash off your treatment after a while (allow treatment for atleast 5-15 minutes.) Many of these ingredients spoil quickly and can leave your skin coated in bacteria. This is just asking for infection and damage. Some extra tips are to boil a pan of water and lean over it. The steam will open up your pores. After a little while wipe your face with a cloth. This should assist in removing blackheads. Another tip is to use a tooth brush on your skin. Yes I realize this sounds absurd, but it works! Using a clean tooth brush (preferably not the one used for your teeth) go over your skin gently in a circular motion. This should wipe your pores clean. (You can do this to scrub while washing.)
Next up is the hair.
First off, Look up "No shampooing" on google. To sum it all up, shampoo strips your hair of needed oils. Your hair will be very dry, thus forth your scalp will attempt to produce more oils to cope. This endless cycle will lead to greasier, dryer, and much more unhealthy hair. If you stop shampooing your hair it will go through a period of grease for a couple days. This will wear off though! Mine only lasted for about 2-3 days before going to a lovely natural sheen. Now, Use a conditioner and make sure you get it all through the hair. Allow your conditioner to sit a while. It helps to put it in first thing during a shower or bathing session, then allow it to sit until you are ready to dry off, then rinse it off. You can look up more natural treatments, these will be targeted on hair. The main ones are Mayonnaise, Beer, Eggs, Carrots, Coffee and Bananas. Remember, your wet hair is VERY delicate. You should treat it with the up-most of care. Start combing from the ends and work your way up when de-tangling hair. I find it helpful to deep condition every day. This means to leave normal conditioners in your hair. After showering I use a very small amount and work it evenly through my hair, then I style it as usual! It is a very simple fix to a large problem. Often I use a Ionic blow-dryer and Iron on my hair, so the conditioner also protects it.
Now its time to talk hair removal.
Hair removal is an issue for both men and women. But sense I am female, I can only really offer female tips. Sorry guys.
So, There are many hair-removal methods. Waxing, shaving, epilating, dissolving, and tweezing are many of the popular ones today. To be honest, I have tried them all. I have very pale skin and very dark hair, so all of my body hair shows up horribly well. Waxing is a good way to remove hair if you don't want the shadows under the skin. But the issue with waxing is having to wait until your hair grows out again before you can wax again. Also I found that it is messy and doesn't provide a lot of control. Not only that but I had a lot of issues getting all the hair. Shaving is my favorite method to be honest. It is easy, quick, plenty of control, and you can go over the hair repeatedly until it is removed. But you must remember to use shaving cream! I prefer to use Olay Ribbons body wash. It replaces shaving cream and gel, and acts as an amazing body wash with plenty of moisterizers. But maintaining healthy skin using all-natural methods works fine too. (Spending money is the quick/lazy fix.) Epilating is another favorite. An epilator looks like a electric razor, but instead of shaving, it tweezes. The inside consist of a revolving piece with many opening and closing tweezers. It removes the hair faster than waxing and provides more control with less mess. Dissolving hair is like using Nair. It burns, costs too much, and from what I can tell, really doesn't work to well. Tweezing is good for eye brows and such, Simply use a pair of tweezers and pluck the hair from the surface. Remember not to agitate skin to much! Also Neosporin helps treat not only acne sores and zits, but also razor bumps! It prevents scarring too.
I hope this helps!

Newbs
I'm new.
Does anyone ever have the right to say they aren't? Does anyone know everything? I really don't believe so. But what confuses me sometimes is how people often dislike teaching or sharing their knowledge. If you don't like someone to be new, why not assist them in becoming more well educated on the subject matter in question? This is prevalent on many games. I remember playing WoW (World of Warcraft) and being a "Newb". This was a rather unpleasant thing at times... You are the target of jokes and ridicule. Although the experience often builds character, its something that people should not have to deal with. This is what I keep in mind when I meet someone who wants to know more about something I can say I understand very well. I try to openly explain the matter in plain English. I avoid laughing and I avoid anything that seems unwelcoming. And when I am in the position of the "newb" I try to explain in a short way why I feel like I do. Sometimes it helps to just say "Yes, I know I am an idiot, now go on." After that you are pretty much immune to everything. Maybe one day people will find something better to do then just pick on one another at unnecessary times.
Special Dinosaurs with open minds, Doesn't sound half bad to me.
