I'm new.
Does anyone ever have the right to say they aren't? Does anyone know everything? I really don't believe so. But what confuses me sometimes is how people often dislike teaching or sharing their knowledge. If you don't like someone to be new, why not assist them in becoming more well educated on the subject matter in question? This is prevalent on many games. I remember playing WoW (World of Warcraft) and being a "Newb". This was a rather unpleasant thing at times... You are the target of jokes and ridicule. Although the experience often builds character, its something that people should not have to deal with. This is what I keep in mind when I meet someone who wants to know more about something I can say I understand very well. I try to openly explain the matter in plain English. I avoid laughing and I avoid anything that seems unwelcoming. And when I am in the position of the "newb" I try to explain in a short way why I feel like I do. Sometimes it helps to just say "Yes, I know I am an idiot, now go on." After that you are pretty much immune to everything. Maybe one day people will find something better to do then just pick on one another at unnecessary times.
Special Dinosaurs with open minds, Doesn't sound half bad to me.
